CCCC students learn from Life Flight

Andrew Giermak | The Sanford Herald Central Carolina Community College nursing students received a visit from, and training seminar beside and inside, a Duke Life Flight helocopter Thursday afternoon in the parking lot beside the Dennis J. Wicker Civic Center at CCCC. About 60 students saw the landing, listened to speakers and toured the helocopter. The helocopter which made the trip is Duke University Health System's newest one. Life Flight serves a 200-mile radius with care and transport for critically ill or injured people.
