The Lee County Arts Council will celebrate Youth Art Month (YAM) with an exhibition featuring the work of young artists from area schools at the Steele Street Mall, 144 S. The free reception features live music, dancing, booths demonstrating how to make soap, paint your own personal masterpiece, how to improve your photographs and more. Refreshments are available while they last. The event is part of Second Sunday on Steele Street, so visitors can browse in the shops on the block between Carthage and Wicker streets after visiting the art exhibit.
