What are the five most frequently played songs on your iPod playlist? I don’t have an iPod; I listen to a lot of contemporary Christian and light rock in my car, and classical during the day while I am working.
What is your favorite movie? Either "The Patriot" or "Braveheart" — not that I am a big Mel Gibson fan, but I love history and stories of people who stood up for what they thought were the right things.
What is your favorite book? Besides The Bible, I have a lot of favorite books — mostly John Grisham and Tom Clancy.
Is there a hobby you can't live without? Reading
Is there an item or collectible you hold dear? Any of my wife's pottery
Where would someone be most likely to find you on a Saturday night? At home with Sally and studying my sermon
What was your dream job when you were a child? Drummer in a rock band, cowboy
What are some of your favorite things? My Bible, my laptop computer and smartphone, television to watch sports and good movies
What would be your last meal? Either steak or Italian — actually, I like all foods!

What is something interesting most people don't know about you? I used to have a dog named Halleluia.

What's the worst injury you've ever had? Torn ACL in right knee

What would you like to know about the future? Nothing — I just try to live each day the best way I can.

Would you go bungee jumping or skydiving? Not now – I might have when I was younger and my knees were better.

What's the hardest thing you've ever had to tell someone? Whenever I have to tell someone a loved one of theirs has died.
Would you consider plastic surgery if someone else paid for it? Nope – not even a hair transplant
What's the most embarrassing experience you've ever had at work? The first Christmas Eve communion service I officiated, and the entire pitcher of juice spilled on the floor of the church.
Which actor would portray you in a movie about your life? A comedian, I am sure.
Biggest pet peeve? People who are not honest with me
What's your usual wake-up time in the morning? 5 a.m. Sunday – Friday, maybe 7 a.m. Saturday.
What talent do you wish you had? Playing the piano

What superhero power would you most like to have? Ability to heal people
What was your favorite TV show when you were growing up? "The Monkees"
Favorite band or musical artist? Jazz musician or light rock – It used to be The Rolling Stones, but can’t take the noise like I used to.

What's your cell phone ringtone? Regular phone sound – although I do have some contacts that use “Bad To The Bone” as their ringtone.

Who's your best friend and why? My wife, Sally, because she knows everything about me and still loves me
You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time, you get fired. What do you do? Save the dog
If you could go back in time and change one historic event, what would it be? I would try to stop John Wilkes Booth from assassinating Lincoln or Oswald from assassinating Kennedy.
