NAME: Steffanie Helsman

AGE: 37

FAMILY: Married with three children

POSITION: Financial services representative and licensed platform associate

HOMETOWN: Born in Hackensack, N.J., grew up in Levittown, Pa. (just outside of Philadelphia), and have been living in Sanford for the last 11 years.

What are five most frequently played songs on your iPod playlist? I don’t have a playlist. I am a Pandora listener and shuffle everything from Broadway to country to pop to classic rock. I love it all!

What is your favorite movie? "Field of Dreams," but "Top Gun" comes in a close second

What is your favorite book? "The Da Vinci Code"

Is there a hobby you can't live without? Absolutely! Exercise — it is a fantastic stress reliever and makes me feel great.

Is there an item or collectible you hold dear? Yes! A handwritten poem my grandmother wrote me on my wedding day. I never knew she wrote it until I received it two months ago at her funeral.

Where would someone be most likely to find you on a Saturday night? Hanging with my family and/or friends

What was your dream job when you were a child? At the age of 4, my dream job was to play in the NFL. Having three older brothers, I was quite the tomboy.

What are some of your favorite things? Family, friends, the beach, sitting outside on a cool summer night, bonfires, food and music.

What would be your last meal? Crab legs, crab legs, crab legs, and then some more crab legs

Who would be your ideal dinner guests? (Name three, living or dead) My brother (passed away 10 years ago), my grandmother and Walt Disney.

What is something interesting most people don't know about you? I am a puzzle nerd. Jigsaw puzzles, Sodoku, Words with Friends, and taking anything apart and putting it back together again all make me giddy.

Ideal vacation spot: Anywhere with blue water and white sand

Favorite professional sports team: Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Sixers ... can you see a theme here?

If you were given $5,000 to donate to a non-profit organization, which would you pick? I would split it between the ALS Association Jim “Catfish” Hunter chapter (A good friend of mine has ALS), and the Lee County YMCA.

What's the worst injury you've ever had? A broken nose

Ever had a brush with celebrity? Nope

What would you like to know about the future? Absolutely nothing — the future is a new present we get to unwrap each and every day. I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise.

What's your favorite website? Sadly, Google. I Google everything.

Would you go bungee jumping or skydiving? I would do both. Someone might just have to push me once I get up there.

Do you have a tattoo? No, but have always thought about getting one

Any fears or phobias? I'm not telling.

Ever been outside the United States? Yes. Mexico

Did you have a childhood nickname? Steffie, midget and half-pint

Favorite kind of cookie? Warm chocolate chip

Favorite season? Summer

What's the hardest thing you've ever had to tell someone? Telling my husband that his father passed away

Would you consider plastic surgery if someone else paid for it? Um, yeah!

What's the most embarrassing experience you've ever had at work? Nine months pregnant working in a retail store, I slipped and fell in a box. There I was, completely stuck with my arms and legs dangling out of the box. It took two associates and a customer to pull me out — definitely not my finest moment.

Which actor would portray you in a movie about your life? Jodie Foster

Biggest pet peeve? Dishonesty of any kind

What's your usual wake-up time in the morning? Sometime between 6 a.m. and “Oh, my gosh, I am gonna be late!”

What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could sing. I absolutely love to sing, but to spare the ears of others, I keep it to the car and shower for now.

Ever seen a ghost? Yes. My childhood friend's house was haunted.

What superhero power would you most like to have? The “healing factor" — who wouldn't want to recover from any wound at an accelerated rate and have the aging process slowed?

What was your favorite TV show when you were growing up? "The Cosby Show" and "M*A*S*H"

Favorite band or musical artist? I don't have just one. Some of my favorites are Zac Brown Band, Dave Matthews Band, Pink, Guns N Roses, and the list keeps going.

To keep the stars on the flag nice and even, which state should be traded for Puerto Rico? I love things nice, neat and even, but I wouldn't trade a single one of them.

What's your cell phone ringtone? I have no clue. I always keep it on vibrate.

Favorite dessert? Fresh, hot, fudgy brownie straight out of the oven.

You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time, you get fired. What do you do? Jump in and rescue the dog. If I lose my job, it just means that God has other plans for me. Everything happens for a reason.

If you could go back in time and change one historic event, what would it be? I honestly wouldn't change anything out of the fear of the “butterfly effect." Once again ... everything happens for a reason.

What's your favorite condiment? Mustard

Do you have bumper stickers of any kind on your car? No

If you could never hear the music of one musical artist ever again, which would it be? Blondie

If you could create one rule that all society had to live by, what would it be? “Be excellent to each other” — Bill S. Preston, Esq.

How do you define success? Happiness

Ever wondered why Kamikaze pilots wore helmets? Never thought about it until now

Hamburger or pizza? Pizza, but it has to be pizza from somewhere between Philadelphia and NYC. Otherwise, I pick the burger.

Describe your life philosophy in six words or less: Never walk backward. Keep pushing forward.
