What is your favorite movie? "The Princess Bride"

What is your favorite book? I could NEVER choose one book!

Is there a hobby you can't live without? Reading

Is there an item or collectible you hold dear? The original copy of a poem my great-grandmother wrote for/about me when I was a baby.

Where would someone be most likely to find you on a Saturday night? At home with my family

What was your dream job when you were a child? I have always wanted to be a teacher.

What are some of your favorite things? Family, books, chocolate, silly socks, state fair, elephants, laughing so hard I cry

What would be your last meal? Chicken 'n' dumplings, field peas and snaps, collard greens, cornbread and, of course, sweet tea.

Who would be your ideal dinner guests? (Name three, living or dead) Stephen King, Lee Smith and Carl Hiaasen — three of my favorite writers

What is something interesting most people don't know about you? I am a member of the CCJC's

Ideal vacation spot: I would love to go to Scotland/Ireland.

Favorite professional sports team: I do not watch many sports. When I do, I pull for the underdog.

What's the worst injury you've ever had? A nasty burn on my arm resulting from a dirtbike wreck ... muffler got me.

What would you like to know about the future? Absolutely nothing

Would you consider plastic surgery if someone else paid for it? Nope, not for me; I would rather it go to someone who could truly benefit from it.

What talent do you wish you had? I would love to be able to draw.

What was your favorite TV show when you were growing up? I love The Simpsons ... still watch it!

Favorite band or musical artist? I love lots of different music, but my go-to band is Aerosmith.

Favorite dessert? Banana pudding still warm from the oven

Who's your best friend and why? My husband — he is an amazing person, hard worker, awesome father. We have been through a lot, and he has always been my rock.

You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late one more time, you get fired. What do you do? Save the dog — beg forgiveness!

If you could go back in time and change one historic event, what would it be? I always wished Anne Frank had survived World War II.

How do you define success? By how happy and content you are with life at the end of the day
