Gaynell Cox lays out dresses Friday to be hung in the sanctuary for a blessing of the clothes during Sunday's morning service at Pocket Presbyterian Church. Church volunteers collected donated fabric and sewed dresses for girls and shirts and pants for boys. To date the volunteers have sewn 1,050 dresses. The clothing will be distributed in November to children in Nicaragua as part of the Sewing Seeds for Mission program. The volunteers began their work in March and have met each Tuesday at the church since that time.
