Moore Chamber sponsors State of the Schools
The Moore County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a State of the Schools where members will be provided an update from Dr. Aaron Spence, Superintendent of the Moore County Schools. The “State of” series is designed to provide members with information that helps them as a business owner and as a citizen in the community. This event is made possible through partnerships with the Sunrise Theater and Presentation Services.
Focusing on the theme “Ready for the Future,” the State of the Schools will provide insight into programs and pathways that are available to students to lead them to a successful future. Spence will offer further insight into his vision for building on the school district’s successes, the challenges faced by the local school system, and how the collaborative efforts of the school, home and community can help overcome these challenges.
Attendees will also hear success stories from students who have chosen different pathways and their post-secondary plans.
The State of the Schools will be held on Thursday, April 18, at the Sunrise Theater. There is no charge to attend, but RSVPs are requested. Please RSVP by visiting www.moorecountychamber.com, calling (910) 692-3926 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
