Cameron man charged with kidnapping, sexual offenses
A Harnett County man was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with several sexual assault offenses, according to authorities.
Christopher Rudolph Williams, 22, of Cameron, has been charged with rape, kidnapping and first-degree sexual offenses originating from an incident that allegedly took place this weekend at the 100 block of Sugar Hill Lane, Cameron, according to a report from the Harnett County Sheriff's Office. Williams allegedly knew the victim previously, according to the report, and no other information concerning the victim was released.
Warrants were released for Williams's arrest Tuesday and he was arrested Wednesday morning, according to the report.
According to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Williams was charged with a felony sex offense and a misdemeanor for contributing to the delinquency of a minor while living in Georgia in 2010 and failing to register as a sex offender in Harnett County in 2011. Williams has lived in Cameron since June, according to the sheriff's office report.
