Due to inclement weather, area schools announce schedule changes

Lee County

Lee County Schools has issued the following announcement:

Due to the threat of inclement weather tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 25), Lee County Schools will dismiss early on the following schedule:
Noon - Elementary Schools
12:15 pm - Middle schools, Bragg Street Academy
12:30 pm - High schools

Central Carolina Community College

Due to potentially inclement weather, CCCC will close at noon Friday. All Saturday classes are canceled as well.

Chatham County

Chatham County Schools will let out at 11:30 a.m. Friday for potentially dangerous weather conditions.

Harnett County

Due to forecasted inclement weather, Friday, January 25, 2013 will serve as an early release day for students for Harnett County Schools. Release times will vary by site with noon being the latest release time for any school. Individual schools will advise parents of their release time. All after-school activities for Friday, January 25, 2013 have been canceled.
