DALE P. MOLTER

SANFORD — Dale P. Molter, age 55, passed away in Sanford, North Carolina on November 20, 2012 after battling pancreatic cancer.

Dale was born on June 26, 1957 in Flemington, New Jersey to the late George P. Molter and wife Carol L. Molter, who resides in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Dale was the oldest of six children: three brothers and two sisters, Bert, Darron, Gerry, Vicki, and Corinne.

Dale will be deeply missed by his fiancée, Deborah Tirpok, who was by his side throughout the illness, and was a loving and devoted care giver, truly an inspiration to all. He graduated from Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, NJ in 1975. He began working at Lipton, a Unilever Company, in 1976. He transferred to Unilever's Perfume division in 1999, and then moved to Sanford, NC, Coty facility in 2006. Dale made and collected clocks, and enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Buster.

He is survived by his two children, Dale George Molter and Kimberly Soliman, and three grandchildren, Noah, Trinty, Yseph.

GEORGE E. LAMPTON

PITTSBORO — George E. Lampton, 48, of 164 Erie Lynn Road, died Saturday (12/1/12) at Siler City Care and Rehabilitation in Siler City.

He is survived by his daughter, Kwanasia Lampton of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; mother, Gabrilla Hunt of Pittsboro; stepmother, Shirley Lampton of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; three sisters, Sharon Davis of Pittsboro, Stephanie (Todd) Burgess of Charlotte, and Valerie (Roland) Randall of Pocino, N.Y.; one brother, Michael (Myree) Lampton of Middletown, N.Y.; companion, Tricie Champion of Greensboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Church of Deliverance.

CLYDE ROY THOMPSON SR.

SANFORD — Funeral service for Clyde Roy Thompson Sr., 83, who died Thursday (11/29/12), was conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Macedonia AME Zion Church in Gulf with the Rev. Carolyn Radcliff officiating. Burial was at Lee Memory Gardens.

Musicians were Macedonia AME Zion Church Choir, Cameron Grove AME Zion Praise Team, Tamika Hendrix and Wanda Bailey.

Pallbearers were nephews.

Arrangements were by Knotts Funeral Home.

RUTH FULLER OAKLEY

CARTHAGE — Ruth Fuller Oakley, 80, died Monday (12/3/12) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cross Hill Cemetery.

A native of Person County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Thomas and Mary Fuller. She was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

She is survived by her husband, Coy W. Oakley; and daughters, Helen McDonald, Jane Ritter and Annie Thompson.
