THEODORE “THEO” HAYES
GOLDSTON — Theodore “Theo” Hayes, 75, of St. Luke Church Road, died Sunday (1/13/13) at Cambridge Hills in Pittsboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dean Goldston Hayes; his mother, Ada Reaves Hayes; stepfather, Josephus Hayes; his father, Ralph J. Lash; and daughter, Sharion H. Briggs.
He is survived by his stepmother, Arletha M. Lash; two sons, Ralph Hayes (Theresa) of Atlanta, Ga., and Robert Hayes (Debra) of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Kimberly Hayes-Allen (Andre) and Joy Hayes, all of Greensboro; one stepdaughter, Denise Turner Farar (Joe); one brother, Everett Louis Hayes of Goldston; one sister, Ida Griffin (Lenard) of Greensboro; nine grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Helen Hooker (William) and Delphine Womack (James); and two brothers-in-law, Billy Goldston of Goldston and Timothy Goldston (Mary) of Raleigh; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Roberts Chapel Baptist Church in Goldston. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Wake will be held one-half hour before the service at the church.

PERRY WHITE
SANFORD — Memorial service for Perry White was held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Luke United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. A. Gene Cobb officiating.
Special music was played by Diane Stanley during the service.
Following the funeral, an inurnment graveside service was held at the Buffalo Cemetery with military honors.
Arrangements were by Miller-Boles Funeral Home.

MARTHA ADCOCK THOMAS
LILLINGTON — Martha Adcock Thomas, 85, died Monday (1/14/13) at home.
She graduated from Boone Trail and worked in the cafeteria for 23 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brothie Tillman Thomas; parents, Daniel T. and Allie D. Adcock; and one grandson.
Funeral sersvice will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Moore Union Christian Church. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington.
Visitation will be held today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Adcock Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Thomas and husband David, and Linda Doby and friend Rod Spivey; sons, Tillman Thomas Jr. and wife Deborah, Daniel Thomas and wife Samantha, Fred Thomas and wife Pamela and Jerry Thomas and wife Mona; twin sister, Mary Thomas and husband Odell; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
