NELL G. CLARK
SANFORD — Mrs. Nell G. Clark, age 86, of Sanford, N.C., died Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Liberty Commons of Lee County.
Mrs. Clark was born on June 21, 1927, in Lee County, N.C., to the late Lonnie Calvin Godfrey and Eva Thomas Godfrey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Truby Clark; a sister, Edna Kea and by a brother, Calvin Godfrey. Mrs. Clark was employed as a buyer at Belks Department Store.
She is survived by two nieces, Lana Rosser of Sanford and Nancy Swain and husband Lamar of Louisville, Mississippi; one nephew, Randy Kea and wife Debbie of Atlanta, Georgia; four great-nieces, Christy Cook, Audra McKenzie, Julie Czap, and Eva Sullivan; one great-nephew, Clint Kea, as well as several great-great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan 25, 2014, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at Shallow Well United Church of Christ on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Shallow Well Cemetery.

BILLIE FRANCES REAVES HANNER
SANFORD — Billie Frances Reaves Hanner, 86, of Chester, Va., died Tuesday (1/21/14).
Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Buffalo Cemetery.
She was born in Sanford on April 21, 1927, daughter of the late Robert Reaves and Mary Taylor Reaves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Hanner.
She is survived by two daughters, Frances Conoly and Sarah Griffin; a son, Scott Hanner; two brothers, Roy Reaves and Johnny Reaves; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home.

SANFORD — Jasmine Te'Yonna Wicker, 20, of 4117 Carson Drive, Sanford, died Wednesday (1/22/14) in Moore County.
She is survived by her her mother, Shonda Moncrease (Mike); her father, Timothy Wicker (Janice); brothers, Maurice Wicker, Timothy Wicker Jr., Tyrese Wicker and Desmond Wicker; sisters, Jakirah Moncrease and Kaleyah Wicker; maternal grandparents, Marcelene Watson and Clarence Watson; paternal grandparents, Barbara Jean Cubey (Richard) and Kenny Wicker (Mary); several aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Works For Christ Christian Center. Burial will follow in Lee Memory Gardens.
