ELISHA ROBINSON

WAYCROSS, Ga. — Elisha Robinson, 45, formerly of Fayetteville, died Sunday (7/13/14) at Waycross Medical Center in Waycross, Ga.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Grant Robinson; sons, Xavier Elijah Robinson, Elisha Robinson Jr., and Dygen Robinson; and a daughter, Salina Robinson.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Impact Global Ministries. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Cunningham & Son’s Mortuary in Fayetteville.

SANFORD — Funeral service for Dr. Charles Edrington, who died Monday (7/14/14), was held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dr. A. Gene Cobb and the Rev. Jaye N. White. Burial followed at Buffalo Cemetery.

During the service, the cross bearer was Cole Bivens, the congregation sang and the soloist was David Mellnik. Organist was Lewis Moore.

Pallbearers were Jay Childress, Tom Joyner, Ted Lanier, Dr. Doug Roscoe, George Whitaker and Carol Yarborough.

SANFORD — Simon Johnson, 93, of Alford Alston Road, died Wednesday (7/16/14) at Central Carolina Hospital.

He is survived by several nieces.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Watson Memorial-Cunningham & Son’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Womack Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Watson Memorial - Cunningham & Son’s Mortuary.
