SANFORD — Mrs. Lillian Southern Fox, age 84, of Sanford, N.C., died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, N.C.

Mrs. Fox was born on Nov. 11, 1929, in Lee County, N.C. to the late Charlie Lee Southern and Etta Mae Bruner Southern. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Fox; a son, Mike Fox; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, LuAnne Fox of Lillington, N.C.; four grandchildren, Eddie Wester, Greg Wester, Katie McLamb and Michaela Brown and by five great-grandchildren, Paytan Wester, Alexis Wester, Madison Wester, Landon Wester and MaKenzie Clemmons.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of daughter, LuAnne Fox at 24 Caco Drive, Lillington, N.C.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the Chapel Mausoleum of Lee Memory Gardens in Sanford, N.C. with Rev. Craig Dodson officiating. Entombment in the mausoleum will follow.

SILER CITY — Ronald McKinley Eubanks, 56, of 370 Old Plank Road, Siler City, died Thursday (7/24/14) at Chatham Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Eubanks; parents, Roy and Mary Eubanks; three children, Sheronda Rone (Donta), Andre Williams (Benita) and Kevin Williams (Reba); six sisters, Rose Smith (Wallace), Patricia Hill (Terry), Cheryl Foxx, Sharon Foxx, Sherry Foxx and Rhonda Foxx; one brother, Michael Eubanks; and six grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Unity Powerhouse Holiness Church in Staley with Bishop William Goins officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

SANFORD — Ella Ashley Tippett of Sanford died Friday (7/25/14) at First Health Hospital of the Carolinas. Arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

GLENDON — Elizabeth “Beth” Pierceall Coode, 48, of Glendon died Thursday (7/24/14) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Glendon Independent Christian Church conducted by the Rev. Brian Beane and the Rev. Tony Capehart. The family will be receiving friends at the home in Glendon.

Born in Durham, she was an accomplished musician. She played violin through school and later belonged to many choruses and singing groups within various churches. She graduated with her R.N. Degree from Presbyterian College in Charlotte and worked for many years as a cardiac nurse at Presbyterian Hospital, and also worked as first assistant on the Neurosurgery team for Dr. Stephen Hipp in Charlotte. After moving to Moore County, she volunteered at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital and also Moore Free Clinic.

She is survived by a son, Jim Coode of Charlotte; parents, David and Nancy (Street) Pierceall of Glendon; brother, Todd Pierceall of Gastonia; and grandmother, Jean Street of Glendon.
