ROBERT HOWARD REID
SILER CITY — Robert Howard Reid, 76, of Pine Forest Drive, Siler City died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Reid was born in Chatham County on February 22, 1937, the son of Irving Crumpler and Ruby (Fox) Reid. Robert was a member of Rocky River Baptist Church, an alumnus of East Carolina University and had been a member of the Pirate Club for 35 years. He was the owner of the Pittsboro NAPA Auto Parts Store. He was a member of the Siler City Masonic Lodge #403 where he had served as a past Master. Robert was on the Board of Directors at First Citizens Bank in Pittsboro. The family wishes to express their appreciation to caregivers, Steve, Tara and Sandy.
He is survived by his wife: Betty (Harris) Reid; two sons: Robert H. Reid Jr. and wife Jamie of Sanford, NC, Stan Reid and wife Lea of Siler City, NC; grandchildren, Asa and Joey Reid of Sanford, NC.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Rocky River Baptist Church, 4436 Siler City-Snow Camp Road, Siler City, NC.
The funeral will be Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Rocky River Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Burriss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

CARTHAGE — Lula Jane Bandy, 99, died Monday (9/16/13) at her residence.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hood Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Cameron.
Burial will follow at the Green Grove Church cemetery in Cameron.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by four daughters, Velma Bandy, Annie Upchurch (James), Virginia Bandy and Betty Gilmore; three sons, George Bandy, Rev. James Bandy Jr. and William Bandy (Annette); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, John McNeill (Pearl).

SANFORD — Funeral service for Jeffrey Darrell Watson, 44, of 1261 Farrell Road, who died Sunday (9/15/13), was held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Works For Christ Christian Center with Bishop Larry Watson officiating. Burial was at St. Paul AME Zion Church cemetery in Cumnock.
The St. Paul Choir sang and soloist was Melissa McKenzie.
Pallbearers were the Class of '87 and friends of the family.

He is survived by his parents, Lorenzo and Deloris Stevens Sr.; and two brothers, Donnie Stevens Sr. and Lorenzo Stevens Jr.
Funeral service will be held today at noon at New Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Rockfish Memorial Park.
