SANFORD — Lester Lewis, 63, of 115-B Robbins St., died Saturday (3/30/13) at Central Carolina Hospital.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke Church of God in Mt. Gilead with Elder Eric Smalley officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Cecil Miller (Sandy) of Norwood; and one sister, Annie Mae Lewis of Mt. Gilead.
Viewing will be held from 2 until 7 p.m. today at LHorton Community Funeral Home. Viewing will be at the church Wednesday from 12 until 2 p.m.

GARNER — Camden Michael Brady and Caleb Daniel Brady, infant sons of Phillip and Rebecca Miller Brady of Garner, died Wednesday (3/27/13) at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
A private graveside service will be conducted today at Bennett Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Strider officiating.
In addition to their parents, they are survived by grandparents, Rod and Vickie Miller of Pennsylvania, and Mike and Darlene Brady of Bennett; and great-grandparents, Dora Lash of West Virginia, Ruby Brady of Bennett, and Frank and Sylvia Brown of Siler City.

MARGARET DAVIS ROBERTS
CAMERON — Margaret Davis Roberts, 78, died Sunday (3/31/13) at Peak Resource - Pinelake in Carthage.
Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at White Hill Presbyterian Church conducted by Pastor Archie Stevens. The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m.
A native of Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Gladys Lemons Davis. She worked for many years at Proctor Silex in Southern Pines and also in housekeeping at the Country Club of North Carolina. She also operated her own cleaning business for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Roberts Jr., and her brother, Hayden Davis.
She is survived by daughters, Barbara Coe and Judy Roberts, both of Cameron, and Sandra Abernathy and husband Ray of Catawba; sons, William H. "Robbie" Roberts III and wife Dianne, and David Roberts and wife Linda, all of Cameron; sister, Dorothy Collier of Carthage; brother, Roger Davis of Carthage; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

SANFORD — James Farion Wilson, 56, died Sunday (3/31/13) at his residence.
He was born on July 13, 1956, to Elizabeth Knight Wilson and the late James Wilson.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Knight Wilson; two sons, Jesse Wilson and wife LaRue, and Jeremy Wilson and wife Ashley, all of Sanford; a sister, Charlotte Wilson Merrit of Sanford; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Linda Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Lemon Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

MARY LUCILLE MORRIS FARRELL
PITTSBORO — Mary Lucille Morris Farrell, 86, of Hanks Chapel Road, died Monday (4/1/13) at Cambridge Hills in Pittsboro.
She was born in Rockingham on April 15, 1926, a daughter of James Michael Morris and Maude Poplin Morris. She retired from Chatham Mills after 40-plus years of service. She was a member of Hanks Chapel United Church of Christ. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifton Howard Farrell; a brother and a sister.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and David Collins of Pittsboro; sons and daughters-in-law, Lacy and Patti Farrell of Chapel Hill, Mike and April Farrell of Sanford; brother, John Wayland Farrell of Pittsboro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hanks Chapel United Church of Christ with Pastor Bob Wachs presiding. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held today from 7 until 9 p.m. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home, and other times at the residence of Gail and David Collins.

BROADWAY — Mary Emma Lanier Dowd, 83, died Monday (4/1/13) at Central Carolina Hospital.
She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Thomas William David Lanier and Alberta Howard Lanier. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Sloan; daughters, Alberta Wilson and Sandy Cole; granddaughter, and her brothers, Thomas, Blue and Waldo Lanier.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with the Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Moore Union Christian Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Perez and Pat Morris, both of Broadway, and Christy Sloan of the home; son, Ronald Frank “Scooter” Sloan of Broadway; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

PITTSBORO — Rev. Royzell Goldston, 85, of 11 Bishop Way, died Thursday (3/28/13) at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Alston Chapel Church in Pittsboro. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon G. Thompson of the home; son, James W. Goldston (Sharon) of Pittsboro; two brothers, Robert Alston of the home and Christopher Headen (Michelle) of Siler City; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one niece; one nephew; and a host of relatives and friends.

MARJORIE FLOYD STEVENS
CARY — Marjorie Floyd Stevens of 111 MacArthur Drive, Cary, formerly of Sanford, died Saturday (3/30/13) at home.
She was the daughter of the late Frank Carter Floyd and Iowa Durham Floyd. She was married to Glenn R. Stevens for 49 years until his death in 2000. She was an active member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church. In her younger years, in addition to her volunteer work at church, she was a volunteer at the Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, the Helping Hand Clinic and Jonesboro Elementary School.
She is survived by a son, Richard Stevens and wife Cindy of Chapel Hill; daughters, Debbie Allison and husband Dave of Apex, and Glenda Gaukler and husband Jimmie of Wilmington; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchilden; brother, Frank C. Floyd Jr. of Virginia; and sisters, Bonnie Forzly of Georgia, Bobbie Oakman of South Carolina and Rachel Stasko of North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Jonesboro United Methodist Church.

SANFORD — Memorial service for Kenneth Raymond Watson, 74, formerly of Connecticut, who died Wednesday (3/27/13), was held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Joel Cameron officiating. The flag was presented with military rites.

PITTSBORO — Thurman Jackson (T.J.) Seymour, 65, of 2914 Hamlet Chapel Road, died Saturday (3/30/13) at his residence.
He was the son of the late Lester Clay and Hattie Burnette Seymour.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Haw River Baptist Church in Pittsboro. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:30 until 1 p.m. No wake will be held.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Farrar Seymour; four daughters, Sharon Seymour and Sharnetta Seymour, both of Pittsboro, Sheena Dial Seymour of Lumberton and Alicia Rogers Pipkins (James) of Fuquay-Varina; one granddaughter; two sisters, Hester Jeanette Seymour Alston (George) of Moncure and Hattie Sue Seymour Burnette (Thomas) of Pittsboro; one brother, Galento “Pond” Seymour (Mamie) of Pittsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
