SANFORD — Infant Breana Emmaleigh LaDronka died Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford.
Surviving are her parents, Bradley Daniel-James LaDronka and Jessica Talley LaDronka of the home; maternal step-grandfather and grandmother, Jerry and Denise Thomas of Goldston, N.C.; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Johnny and Angela Talley of Denton, N.C.; paternal grandparents, Mark and Leeann LaDronka of Grand Haven, MI.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Corner Stone Baptist Church, located at 396 N.C. Hwy. 42, Goldston. Pastor David Thomas will officiate.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

MONCURE — Funeral service for Roger Torran Smith, 35, who died Saturday (6/29/13), was conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Liberty Chapel in Moncure with Apostle Norma Bryant and Pastor Willie McCrimmon officiating.
Music was provided by Marcus Hackney and LaQuanda Jiggetts.
Pallbearers were family and friends.

SANFORD — Dwight Laverne Morgan, 51, of 904 Clark St., died Sunday (6/30/13) at Duke University Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Sheron; daughters, Melissa Johnson (Keith), Katherine McClutchen (Travis) and LaPhiffaney Morgan (Kim); his mother, Evelyn Percell Morgan; brothers, Leo Percell and Clifton Percell; sister, Johnnie Faye Small; 15 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Knotts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lee Memory Gardens.

BENNETT — David Wallace, 51, of 24201 N.C. Hwy. 902, Bennett, died Wednesday (7/3/13) at Saint Mary's Hospital in Athens, Ga.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Neal Jackson and the Rev. Ben Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
He lived in Chatham County and was a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Wallace.
He is survived by one daughter, Lauren Wallace of Mebane; one son, Brandon Wallace of Southern Pines; his mother, Lucy Shields Wallace of the home; sisters, Teresa Bouldin and husband the Rev. Kenneth Bouldin of Seagrove, and Audrey Cornelius and husband Jonathan of Lillington; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

CARTHAGE — Virginia Frye, 64, died Thursday (7/4/13) at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive A.M.E. Zion Church in Carthage. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. A viewing will take place on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by three daughters, RaShon Frye, Brandy Frye and Davida Frye; and three grandchildren.

SANFORD — Memorial service for Anthony Eugene Phillips, 69, who died Wednesday (7/3/13), was held Friday at 1 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Worley and the Rev. Terry Pleasants officiating. Eulogy was by Mary Lois Solis speaking on behalf of Lois Brafford.
Pianist was Barbara Miller. Lillian Sessoms and Barbara Miller sang two selections.
