JAMES ALLEN WHITE
SILER CITY — James Allen White, 77, of Siler City died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Siler City Care & Rehabilitation.
Mr. White was born in Lee County on April 23, 1935, the son of Ernest White and Zelphia Lett Elder Richardson. He had been employed as a truck driver with Liberty Chair and was a member of Loves Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons: Terry White and fiancee', Gail Jones of Asheboro, NC, Danny White of Siler City, NC, and Mike White of Siler City, NC; mother, Zelphia Richardson; one sister: Peggy Pittman and husband, Leroy of Gastonia, NC; half-sister, Georgia Trogdon of Siler City, NC; half-brother, Tommy Elder of Siler City, NC; and a special cousin, Nellie Cox of Sanford, NC; grandchildren, Cory White and Marianne Walters; great-grandchild, Preston Walters.
A graveside memorial service was held Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Loves Creek Baptist Cemetery, 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City with Pastor Craig Day officiating and Allen Lett serving as soloist.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loves Creek Baptist Church, 1745 East 11th Street, Siler City, NC 27344.

MAMERS — SFC James “Jim” Mahar, Ret. U.S. Army, 84, died Monday (12/31/12) at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by O’Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home in Lillington.

SPRING LAKE — Faye Graham Hall, 76, died Friday (12/28/12) at her home.
She was born in Harnett County on Aug. 22, 1936, to the late Garland Graham and Odell Godfrey Graham. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Dalrymple, and a brother, Charles Graham. She worked as an accountant in the civil service.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Hall; one niece and one nephew; three great-nieces and three great-nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Olivia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. George Walton officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

FAYETTEVILLE — Duncan Campbell Blue Jr., 87, died Friday (12/28/12) at Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab Center.
He was the son of the late Duncan Campbell Blue Sr. and Mary Ann Monroe.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia N. Blue; two daughters, Mary A. Blue and Diana M. Blue of Fayetteville; and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the Rogers and Breece Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Campground United Methodist Church with the Rev. Haywood Smith officiating. The interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Vass.

MAMERS — N.A. Cameron Jr., 73, died Monday (12/31/12) at Universal Healthcare in Lillington.
He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Neill Cameron Sr. and Flarie Wood Cameron. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Cameron. He was a lifelong member of the Mamers community and attended Boone Trail School.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Leaflet Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Leaflet Presbyterian Church prior to the service.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Holder Cameron; two daughters, Angie Cameron Raynor and husband Kevin of Lillington and Jean Cameron Nipper and husband Tommy of Linden; three grandchildren; four sisters, Edna Rogers and husband Eugene, and Gaynelle Rosser and husband Clarence, all of Sanford; Ruby Griffin of Lillington and Thelma Cameron of Grifton; and brother, David Cameron of Cameron.

BENNETT — Barney Edison Brady, 92, of 255 Charlie Garner Road, died Sunday (12/30/12) at his home.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fall Creek Baptist Church where he was a member with the Rev. Scott Allmon and the Rev. Bob Wachs officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
He was a Chatham County native and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva E. Caviness Brady, and a stepson, Dale Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Lois C. Brady; daughter, Jo Ann Williams and husband Wayne of Clemmons; sons, Jimmie Brady and wife Yvonne of Charlotte, Donnie Brady and wife Brenda of Jamestown, and Phillip Brady and wife Pamela of Bennett; stepdaughters, Jeanie Scott and husband Larry of Siler City and Mary Lois Thomas and husband Roger of Sanford; brother, Homer Ray Brady and wife Velna of Robbins; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Joyce-Brady Chapel in Bennett, and other times at the home.

SANFORD — Funeral service for Betty Ann Crigger Strickland, 66, of Cary, who died Saturday (12/29/12), was held Monday at 1 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Raddatz officiating. Several members of the family and several friends gave eulogies. Burial followed at Buffalo Cemetery.
Recorded music was played.
Pallbearers were Thomas J. Crigger, Joey Crigger, Tony Troop, Lloyd Troop, Shawn Blake and Buddy Boyd.

SANFORD — Funeral service for Andrea Lee Holder, 36, who died Friday (12/28/12), was held Monday at 3 p.m. at Swann Station Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Blackmon and the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial followed at Cameron Grove Cemetery.
Nancy Blackmon was the pianist. Soloist was Swannie Lawrence, accompanied by Leah Everett on the piano. Nancy Blackmon and the Rev. Russell Blackmon sang a duet. The congregation also sang.
Pallbearers were Kevin Bruton, Wayne Bruton Jr., Danny Holder, Tommy Holder, Darryl Weaver and Stephen McDuffie.

FUQUAY-VARINA — Mamie Ruth Bryant Tartridge died Saturday (12/29/12) at Bryan Center in Durham.

She is survived by two daughters; two sons; one sister, Odessa Bryant Williams (Fred) of Sanford and one brother, John Bryant of Sanford.
