WILLIAM HAROLD SHAW
SANFORD — William “Bill” Harold Shaw died Wednesday (11/6/13) at Duke Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Shaw and Irene Shorb Lake; three brothers; two stepsons, Scott Patrick and Brent Patrick; and one grandson. He served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Martha “Pat” Shaw; stepson Bert Patrick and wife Sue of Nampa, Idaho; two stepdaughters, Gina Wolff and Jody Keye and husband Gene, all of Apex; a stepdaughter-in-law, Bonnie Patrick of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Jean Rentlemen of Poctello, Idaho; several nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Sanford Elks Lodge #1679. A visitation will be held following the service.

PITTSBORO — James Elbert Ramsey Jr., 70, of 140 Brookstone Lane, died Wednesday (11/6/13) at Durham Veterans Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Knotts Funeral Home in Pittsboro.
MICHAEL ALLEN WEBB
LILLINGTON — Michael Allen Webb, 22, died Wednesday (11/6/13) at his residence.
He loved spending time at the beach and going on long walks.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Donald Flowers of the home; father Anthony Scott Webb and wife Letitia of Bunnlevel; maternal grandparents Ruthann Bernett and husband Robert of Lillington and Sylvia Thompson of Angier; paternal grandmother Glinda Bryant of Bunnlevel; siblings Cheryl Lynn Prince, Scott R. Webb, Weston Flowers, James and Brittany Webb; and five nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at O’Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home and other times at the home.

EDNA CAMERON HAYNES
CAMERON — Edna Cameron Haynes of 22438 NC Hwy 24/27, died Monday (11/4/13).
She was born June 3, 1961, in Sanford, the daughter of Oscar L. Cameron and the late Evelyn Saunders Cameron. She attended Harnett County Public Schools and graduated from Western Harnett High School in 1979. After graduation, she joined the U.S. Army, where she served until 1985.
She is survived by one daughter, LaShonda Boldon of Glen Burnie, Md.; two sons, Maurice Cameron of Cameron and Billy Person II of Robbins; her father, Oscar L. Cameron of the home; two brothers, David Cameron of Pittsboro and James Cameron of Cameron; five sisters, Leasa McDougald of Lillington, Sharon Cameron of Fayetteville, Jackie Bryant of the home, and Teresa Hye and Stephanie Cameron, both of Sanford; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing today from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Purcell Funeral Home in Southern Pines, and on Saturday at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Cameron from 11 a.m. to noon.
