CARTHAGE — James Calvin Simon, 86, died Tuesday (11/19/13) at his home.

A celebration of life will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Al Hill officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

He was born in Abington, Pa., on March 16, 1927, to Albert F. and Ruth Work Simon. He was self-employed as an auto body repairman and also worked for Bucks County Water & Sewer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert F. and Ruth Work Simon; and one sister, Mae Brett.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, June Moyer Simon; one daughter, Deborah Zdanowicz and husband William of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Christian Fellowship Building Fund.

MONCURE — Nicole Marie Lynch Fodor died Monday (11/18/13) at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

She was born in Medina, Ohio, on Aug. 24, 1980, to Barbara Kurzenberger Lynch and the late Gregory Lynch. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Lynch. She was a lease administrative assistant with Rivercrest Realty and Investment Company.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Fodor; daughters, Kaitlyn Marie Fodor and Makayla Alexis Fodor; her mother, Barbara Kurzenberger Lynch; and a maternal grandmother, Anna Kurzenberger of Parma, Ohio.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robbie Gibson presiding. Burial will follow at Buffalo Cemetery.
