GREENVILLE, S.C. — R. Hugh McLean, 59, of 2207 Wade Hampton Blvd., died Saturday (10/19/13) at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of the late John Lewis and Kattie Lee McLean, formerly of Sanford. Born on May 6, 1954, and reared in Sanford, he was a U.S. Air Force MP veteran. He graduated from Lee Senior High School and Central Carolina Community College and earned his Associate Degree in Communication. He was a facilities staff member at First Baptist Greenville and was a member of Greenville Outreach Center.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melissa Thomas McLean; three sons; two daughters; four sisters; three brothers; 13 grandchildren and a host of extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Greenville. An inurnment will follow in the Remembrance Garden at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Einstein Academy or First Baptist Greenville, both located at 847 Cleveland St., Greenville, S.C. 29601.
The family is at the home.

SANFORD — Funeral service for Teresa McKoy Jenkins, 49, of 105 6th St., was held Wednesday at Works for Christ Christian Center with Dr. Alice Hooker officiating. Burial was at Minter Cemetery.
Soloists were Von Matthews and India Berryman.
Pallbearers were Tyrone Jones, Robert Cox, Tony Gunter, Keno Jones and Wayne Doe.
Arrangements were by Knotts Funeral Home.
