CHARLIE WILLIAM ELLIOTT JR.
SANFORD — Mr. Charlie William Elliott Jr., 83, of Sanford, died Friday (11/15/13) at the home of his daughter in Cameron.
Mr. Elliott was born on Dec. 25, 1929, in Harnett County to the late Charlie William Elliott and Cora Carter Elliott. He was a member of The Church of God of Prophecy on Plank Road. He was a farmer and a spinning machine operator for a textile manufacturing company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Letha Kathleen Spivey Elliott, an infant brother, and brothers Oscar Elliott and Alvin Elliott.
He is survived by his wife, Marcie Daye Manning Westbrook Elliott; two daughters, Bonita Johnson Godfrey and Wanda Holder (and husband Bernice) both of Cameron; a step-daughter, Carlita Anne Carrillo of Lemon Springs; two step-sons, Deerain Harvey Manning and Carl Sutton Westbrook Jr. both of Kinston; a brother, Tommy Elliott (and wife Catherine) of Sanford; sisters Martha Wall (and husband Odell) of Carthage, Geraldine Wood of Sanford, and Carol Ring (and husband Buster) of Carthage; four grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Donna Baca (and husband Oscar) and Sherry Holder; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Amber, Abrie, and Jayden Baca, and two step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday (11/17/13) from 6-8 p.m. at The Church of God of Prophecy on Plank Road. The funeral will be held Monday (11/18/13) at 3 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Vernon Riggins and Mr. Mike Russell, minister of music, officiating. Burial will follow at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.

DENNIS STEPHEN MASON
SANFORD — Funeral service for Dennis Stephen Mason, 72, of Sanford, who died Thursday (11/14/13) was held Saturday (11/16/13) at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with Rev. Gilbert McDowell officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with military rites.
Pianist was Mrs. Melanie Underwood.
Pallbearers were Johnny Douglas, Patrick Fields, Neil Godfrey, Scott Johnson, Phillip Bonardi, and Cameron Bonardi.
The family received friends at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall following the funeral service and interment.
