BOBBIE LOU STOUT TEAL
LEMON SPRINGS — Bobbie Lou Stout Teal, 76, died Tuesday (11/27/12) at the Laurels of Chatham Retirement Home in Pittsboro.
She was born in Lee County on Feb. 14, 1936, to the late Johnie Cecil Stout and Lillie Doud Stout. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Stout. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Johnny Kemp Brooks of Lemon Springs, Donald Ray Brooks of Mississippi, and Andrew Wayne Brooks of Florida; daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Ann Friedman of Sanford; brother, John David Stout and wife Nancy of Carolina Beach; three grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lemon Springs United Methodist Church cemetery with Chaplain Joel Cameron presiding.

SANFORD — Doris McKenzie, 84, of 1631 Cumnock Road, died Sunday (11/25/12) at Central Carolina Hospital.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. with the visitation of friends one hour prior to the service at St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church on Cumnock Road. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo McKenzie Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Leo McKenzie Jr. and Carver L. McKenzie, both of Sanford; four daughters, Doris M. Watson and Loscie M. Watson, both of Sanford, Carolyn M. Bynum of Goldston, and Dr. Kathy E. McKenzie-Mitiku of Winston-Salem; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

BROADWAY — Memorial service for Joyce Louise Gillespie Booth, 69, who died Friday (11/23/12), was conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Father Robert Ippolito officiating.

SANFORD — Funeral service for Robert Guthrie Kennedy, 74, who died Sunday (11/25/12), was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Darrell Harris officiating. Burial followed at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Vass.
Recorded music was played.
Active pallbearers were Ricky Matthews, Wesley Miller, Joe Diggs, Len Lassiter, Dorman Coats and Donald Thomas Jr. Honorary pallbearer was Davis Salmon.

WINONA JOHNSON PRICE
APEX — Winona Johnson Price, formerly of Sanford, died Monday (11/26/12).
She was born on Feb. 20, 1932 in Chelsea, Ala., to Jeffrey Thomas Johnson and Ethel Brasher Johnson. She was preceded in death by a grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Archie Boyce Price; daughters, Tara J. Price of Apex, and Sharon Gautier Henson and husband Michael of Temecula, Calif.; sisters, Maurie Triplett and Karol Chesser, both of Madison, Ala.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Apex Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Raleigh Memorial Park.
