SABRA ELKINS DAURITY
SILER CITY — Sabra Elkins Daurity, 93, of Raleigh, formerly of Goldston, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at Rex Health Care, Raleigh.
Mrs. Daurity was born September 2, 1919, the daughter of Colon and Flossie (Barber) Elkins. She was a member of Goldston Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the very definition of a truly graceful lady filled with sweetness, kindness, caring and love for all, especially God, family and many, many friends. To know Sabra was to truly love her and she will be missed more than words can express. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Daurity and her parents.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane Wallace of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Grant Daurity of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Jerome Daurity of Knightdale, NC; two sisters, Helen Simpson of Ashland, KY, Doris Mallard of Durham, NC; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Goldston Cemetery, Goldston, NC with the Rev. David Hicks and the Rev. Mitch Watson officiating.

SANFORD — Funeral service for James Ralph Holt Sr., 77, of Broadway, who died Sunday (5/5/13), was held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Broadway with the Rev. Jerry W. Parsons officiating.
The congregation sang a hymn. Soloist was David Oyster. Louise Oyster played the piano and David Oyster played the organ on two instrumental duets.
Pallbearers were Tony Holt, Kenny Holt, David Vick, Travis Holt, Stephen Patterson and Joe Whitmore.
Arrangements were by Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
PATRICIA LOUISE THOMAS
BROADWAY — Funeral service for Patricia Louise Dreisbach Thomas, 64, who died Tuesday (5/7/13), was conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Burial followed at the Cool Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
During the service, taped music was played.
Pallbearers were Ben Perez, Omar Torres, Tony Sloan, Phillip Torres, Honerio Torres and Allen Merritt.
Arrangements were by Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
