SANFORD — James Michael Seymore, 67, of Sanford, died Friday (7/26/2013) at Central Carolina Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.

Born in Statesville, Mike is the son of Ann D. Seymore and the late Paul B. Seymore. He was a veteran of the Air Force and worked in Burlington for many years.

In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by a son James Michael Seymore Jr of Benson, Ark.; a step-daughter, Michele Morrison and her mother Ceydell Seymore of Little Rock, Arz.; two brothers, Jerry Seymore of Shelton, Wash., and Paul Seymore Jr. of Federal Way, Wash..

There will be no visitation.

LEE COUNTY — Timothy Jeremiah "TJ" Reeder, 17, of Lee County, died Thursday (7/25/2013) near Pinehurst.

He was a native of Richmond County and was attending Sandhills Community College.

He is survived by his parents Andrew "Andy" F. and Lisa Larsen Reeder of Lee County, a brother Charles Ray Barmer, Jr. of Rockingham, sisters Amanda Reeder Latham of Groton, Conn., and Vanessa Reeder Sasser of Knightdale.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines with a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel conducted by the Rev. Donnie Darr.

BEAR CREEK — Delsie Lee Vanderford, 74, of Bear Creek, died Friday (7/26/2013) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Joyce-Brady Chapel with the Rev. Noah Albarez officiating. Burial will follow at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Vanderford was born in Roberson County and was a dental assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents Ronder and Eula Price Beal and a sister Audrey Vick.

Vanderford is survived by a son Dan Seagrove and wife Angel of Colorado, brothers Ronnie Beal and wife Jan of Bear Creek, and Wade Beal and wife Phyllis of Staley; three grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

MEMPHIS, TENN. — Robert Beasley, 69, died Monday (7/22/2013) in a Veterans Affairs Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverview Church of God in Christ with a visitation at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at West Tennessee Veteran Cemetery.

Beasley served in the U.S. Army and was a W.B. Wicker High School graduate, class of 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Beasley and three children, all of Memphis, Tenn., and one sister, Wilma Jennings, of Sanford.
