JIMMY LEE WILLIAMSON

BENNETT — Jimmy Lee Williamson, 53, of 4357 Walt Brown Road, died Monday (10/7/13) at his home.

Graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Needham's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove, with the Rev. James Cockram and Pastor Frank Thacker officiating.

He was a Moore County native and was member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was the son of Cranford L. Williamson and the late Vernice Williamson. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by daughters Brandie LeAnn Williamson and Sarah Kate Williamson.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Britt Williamson; sons Robbie L. Williamson and Jacob C. Williamson of the home; father Cranford L. Williamson and stepmother Irene Williamson of Seagrove; and stepsister Dina Owens of Carthage.

Friends may visit the funeral home today from 1 to 5 p.m. and the morning of the service at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St. in Bennett. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the church fellowship hall, and other times at his home.

In lieu of flowers donations, may be made to Joyce-Brady Chapel, P.O. Box 89, Bennett, N.C. 27208 to help with funeral expenses.

ADRIANE JANEL NETTLES

PITTSBORO — Adriane Janel Nettles, 40, of 353 Richardson Road, died Saturday (10/5/13) at her residence.

She is survived by a son London De’Sean Nettles and a daughter Jakayla Gabriel Burnette of the home; her mother, Frances Richardson Nettles of the home; her brother, David Rodney Nettles (Pam) of Winter Haven, Fla.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mitchell Chapel AME Zion Church in Pittsboro. Burial will follow at St. Matthews AME Zion Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frances Nettles for the children.

Arrangements are by Knotts Funeral Home in Pittsboro.

MAZIE R. FARROW

SANFORD — Mazie R. Farrow, 92, of 658 Love Grove Church Road, died Monday (10/7/13) at Central Carolina Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Watson Memorial - Cunningham & Son’s Mortuary Inc.

The family will be at the home of her son, Jerald Pearson, 816 W. Garden St.

SANFORD — Sarah Tuck, 95, of 1140 Blackstone Road, died Tuesday (10/8/13) at her home. Arrangements are pending by LHorton Community Funeral Home.

ALLEN BARBER

SANFORD — Funeral Mass for Allen Barber, 92, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., who died Tuesday (10/1/13), was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, at St. Stephen Catholic Church by Fr. Hector. Burial followed with military honors at the church cemetery.

During the service, readings were by Shannon Lee. Organist was Evelyn Dooley, and the Cantor was Shannon Lee.

ROGER DALE LEE

GOLDSTON — Roger Dale Lee, 61, died Monday (10/7/13) at Central Carolina Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Spring Lane Assembly of God in Sanford. Burial will follow at Goldston United Methodist Church cemetery.

He was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Richland County, S.C., to the late Ollie Ott and Maxie Edward Lee Sr. He was an accomplished musician and songwriter.

He is survived by two sisters, Evelyn Maxine Ball of Simpsonville, S.C., and Carolyn Hammonds of Lexington, S.C.; and one brother, Edward Lee of Goldston.
