OTIS EARL COLVIN III
SANFORD — Mr. Otis Earl “Sonny” Colvin III, age 55, of Sanford, N.C., died Thursday, September 5, 2013, as the result of a motor vehicle/lawn mower accident.
Mr. Colvin was born on Feb. 19, 1958, in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Otis Earl Colvin Jr. and Bobbye Covington Colvin. He was employed at Caterpillar, Inc. Mr. Colvin served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy McDuffie Colvin of the home; a son, Otis Earl “Rusty” Colvin IV and wife Cheryl of Sanford; a stepson, Jeremy Gaddy of Sanford; grandchild, Otis Earl “Quinn” Colvin V and stepgrandson, Jordan Gaddy.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Backlund officiating.

ROBERT REYNOLDS MASON
LILLINGTON — Funeral service for Robert Reynolds Mason, 77, who died Monday (9/2/13), was conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillingon with the Rev. Terry Williams and the Rev. Randy Beasley officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery with full honors by the N.C. Highway Patrol Honor Guard.
Vocalists were Norma Hamilton, Mary Lib Lasater and Georgia Lee Patterson. Organist was Norma Hamilton and pianist was Johnnie Holder. The Spring Hill UMC choir sang.
Pallbearers were the N.C. Highway Patrol Honor Guard.
Honorary pallbearers were local and state law enforcement.

JAMES ROY WAGNER
MAMERS — James Roy Wagner, 60, died Thursday (9/5/13).
He was born on Oct. 27, 1952, son of the late Isaac Hall Wagner and Clara Elizabeth Ashworth Wagner. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne Wagner. He was a plumber for over 40 years and was the owner of Wagner Plumbing Inc.
Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with the Rev. Gary Buffkin officiating. Burial will follow at the Cumberland Union Christian Church cemetery in Fuquay-Varina.
He is survived by his wife, Donita Sue Wagner; son, J.R. Wagner and wife Brianna of Mamers; sisters, Elizabeth Brown of Mamers and Ruby McKinney of Broadway; brothers, Claude Wagner of Sanford and Billy Wagner of Mamers; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
