LETTER: Theater-goers should be kind, courteous
To the Editor:
I recently attended a play at the Temple Theatre, and my dear friend who is confined to a wheelchair accompanied me. However, our experience was challenging. Parking is limited for handicapped. Seating is available but seems to hinder other patrons. Or at least the attitudes of those who were getting to their seats seemed bothersome.
I am very sad that the patrons of the Temple are not nicer to those who need extra consideration. We all could be on crutches, wearing a foot boot, using a walker or cane or wheelchair. Theater-goers need to be kind and extend courtesy.
