LETTER: Help support the Temple
To the Editor:
I have been fortunate to have seen performances of “Cats” in London and Washington, D.C.; however, the [Temple Theatre’s] 30th anniversary presentation of “Cats” was even more memorable. Everything about the show was amazing: acting, costumes, singing, dancing, staging, choreography, sets.
The Herald reviewer said it “purrfectly,” so I need not say much more.
Since Peggy Taphorn has been the artistic director of the Temple Theatre, we have seen a resurgence of enthusiasm, energy and talent.
What we now need to do is show more support for our “jewel” by increasing attendance in all the various programs that Temple now offers.
Be your own Temple ambassador by introducing someone to Temple who has never been there before.
The opening night of “Cats” was a first-time sellout audience — ever.
Help support Temple by encouraging all to share not only in this phenomenal production, but in all those to come.
They will thank you for it, and Temple will, too.
