LETTER: Linda Watts: ‘not forgotten’
To the Editor:
[Bill] Horner, you have written a fine story in The Sanford Herald on the disappearance of Linda Watts. I particularly like the “conversational” style in which you told the story. The reader can sense your “personal” feelings in the case, as well as those of Sanford law enforcement personnel, judicial prosecutors and family and friends of Mrs. Watts. This case is truly a tragedy, and I hope that someday, it will be solved. It is a credit to the Sanford Police Department that they have kept this case open, and it is a credit to you and The Herald that you “have not forgotten.”
