LETTER: 'We the People' should decide
To the Editor:
Congress should not fund Obamacare but come up with a budget.
My parents are military retirees, and we shop at the commissary, get prescriptions, shop at the BX/PX, etc. What I think Congress should do is to come up with a workable solution to the spending problem. The national debt problem can only be solved by coming up with a workable plan.
I think that “We, The People” should decide on our own how, where and what to do about personal health insurance, i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, etc. Remember, it is up to us “The People” that should decide what to do about health insurance, not the president.
... We should have forced Congress to “check it out” before voting on it.
