EDITORIAL: Show young people support this summer

Jun. 26, 2013 @ 05:00 AM

As has been said many times, our young people are our future. It is important to support our children, whether it be academically, athletically or culturally.

Coming up is the Temple Theatre’s Summer Youth Conservatory production of “Ella!”

The show is an original musical written by Tom Dalton, the Temple’s director of education and sound design. The production is a unique adaptation of the "Cinderella" fairy tale, set in the 1950s during a high school homecoming week.

The shows will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, and again July 26-28 at the same times. Tickets are reasonably priced at $6 for children and $12 for adults.

Take time out to enjoy some nice summer entertainment, while at the same time supporting the young people of our community.
