LETTER: An open letter to government
To the Editor:
I do believe in your oath of office you swore to uphold the U.S. Constitution, so please honor this oath by returning all my rights eroded in the Patriot Act.
I do not believe I should be required to forfeit my rights guaranteed in our Constitution to make the government's number-one job of protecting its citizens from foreign and domestics enemies easier.
Here's a novel idea — start taking away the rights of our enemies and keeping your hands off the rights of law-abiding citizens.
