LETTER: Sanford should be proud of local firm
To the Editor:
A local company has gone out of its way to help me, and I wanted to let the town of Sanford know about it. My wife and I moved from western Harnett County six years ago. We were unable to sell our home and put it up for rent. We chose another property manager, who was good to us for five years but chose to downsize, so we were left to look for a new one. Margaret McNeill at the Groce Companies came highly recommended to me. We spoke to her and were under contract soon after.
Recently, our property had a small fire on the porch area. The tenants are OK and were able to extinguish it before the fire department arrived. This is difficult news to hear, especially when you live more than 800 miles away. Margaret McNeill and Sandra Trogdon have been so very helpful. They have gone out of their way to help my wife and me, and we could not imagine what we would have done had these two not been so helpful. Customer service still truly does exist, and Sanford should be very proud to have a business that goes out of its way to provide it.
