LETTER: Exemplary service deserves recognition
To the Editor:
I would like to share two events that happened to me several weeks ago. The first was when I was going to lend our wheelchair to another couple who had a need for it. When I went to get it, I was not able to turn one wheel. I took it to Quality Home Healthcare and asked them to repair it. When I went to pick it up, I was told that there was no charge!
The second time, I had bought a battery for my car at an auto supply store. It turned out that they were reluctant to install since there was some code involved concerning the radio. They suggested that I go to Honda to have them install it. Somewhat embarrassed, I did. The service department at Honda installed the battery for me, and when I went to pay, again there was no charge!
I felt that I should speak up about the great people that we have here in Sanford and thank them publicly for their caring service.
