Camels go to 15-2 on diamond
Ben McQuown and Michael Felton both picked up two hits and scored twice while Ryan Mattes picked up his fourth win of the year to lead visiting Campbell past Gardner-Webb 7-1 in the Big South opener for both teams at JH Moss Stadium on Friday.
Campbell moves to 15-2 overall and 1-0 in Big South play with the win, while GWU dips to 11-6-1 and 0-1 this season. Friday's contest was the first of a three-game weekend series.

After a David Olson walk and a Ray double to right-center in the fourth, DeLucia singled up the middle to score one for the Camels. Trevor Lane's squeeze scored Ray, making it 3-0 Camels. After advancing to third on a wild pitch, DeLucia scored on an error, giving Campbell a 4-0 lead.
