Lee County will welcome ACC All-Stars tour

Lee County High School will host the ACC All-Stars and one stop of the 35th Annual ACC Barnstorming Tour on Monday, April 22. The ACC All-Star roster will include starters from UNC, N.C. State, Duke and Wake Forest for the first time in the tour’s history.

Duke’s Seth Curry, Mason Plumlee and Ryan Kelly will be in action along with N.C. State’s Scott Wood and Richard Howell, North Carolina’s Dexter Strickland and Wake Forest’s C.J. Harris.

Tickets are now on sale at Lee County High School, Jones Printing and Chatlee Boat and Marine. Tickets can also be ordered online at www.carolinabarnstorming.com or by phone at (704) 246-3816.

General admission tickets are $10 before game day or $12 at the door on April 22. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the game is set for 7:30 p.m.

Local high school seniors and recent graduates will play against the ACC All-Stars. There will also be a three-point shooting contest and a dunk contest. The All-Stars will be available following the game for a limited autograph session.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House and Lee County High School. The Sanford stop is one of seven barnstorming stops across North Carolina by the tour.

There is a limited number of VIP tickets available for $50. VIP tickets get reserved front-row seating for the game, an autograph and photo session after the game and a reception with the ACC All-Stars after the game.
