Grace Christian senior B.J. Harrison will continue his basketball career at the collegiate level as the standout shooter for the Crusaders has accepted a basketball scholarship to Southern Wesleyan University.

Harrison, a shooting guard/wing for the Crusaders as reached the NCISAA State Tournament and had a 19-11 record last season, averaged 19 points, four rebounds and three steals a game as a senior. Harrison shot 47 percent from the three-point line.

"B.J. is a great player and a great example of what hard work will do for you. It was a joy to coach him," said Grace Christian head coach Tim Murr.

"He is a sharp shooter and will make a solid college player," Murr said. "More than all of that, he is a terrific young man. It will be exciting to see what God does with his life."

Southern Wesleyan, in Clinton, S.C., is a member of the NAIA, the Southern States Athletic Conference and the National Christian College Athletic Association. The Warriors went 17-15 overall and lost in the NCCAA South Region final last season.
