Lee County 4, Westover 1

The Yellow Jackets (4-4-1, 2-2-1) got out to a 2-0 lead by halftime and won a Cape Fear Valley match at Westover (5-4, 2-3) Wednesday night. The Jackets have won four of their last six matches and have four shutouts in the stretch.

Lee County will host Southern Lee at 7 p.m. Monday.

Gray’s Creek 3, Union Pines 2

Gray’s Creek (6-2, 3-2) edged the Vikings (3-5-3, 1-4-1) in a CFVC match in Cameron Wednesday night. Union Pines will host Western Harnett at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

North Moore 8, West Montgomery 1

The Mustangs (6-1-1, 4-0-0) jumped out to a 5-0 lead by halftime and got a hat trick by Fernando Lopez for a Yadkin Valley Conference win at home Wednesday night.

Iban Catalan added two goals for North Moore. The Mustangs played at Scotland last night and will host Albemarle at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Overhills 4, E.E. Smith 2

The Jaguars (4-4-2, 3-1-1) rebounded from their first conference loss on Monday with a home victory Wednesday night. Overhills will play at Jack Britt at 7 p.m. Monday.

Jordan-Matthews 1, Graham 1

The Jets (7-3-1, 1-0-1) had their four-match winning streak stopped in a Mid-State match at Graham (6-0-2, 1-0-1) Wednesday night. Jordan-Matthews will host Carrboro at 6 p.m. Monday.

Garner 3, Harnett Central 1

Garner (7-3, 4-0) topped the Trojans (4-5-1, 1-3-0) to stay tied atop the Greater Neuse River Conference Wednesday night. Harnett Central played Triton last night and will host Rolesville at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Northwood 2, Cedar Ridge 1

The Chargers (5-3, 2-2) made it two Big Eight victories this week, going on the road to beat the Red Wolves (2-4-2, 0-2-1) Wednesday night. Northwood played at Southern Lee last night and will host Orange for a Big Eight game at 7 p.m. Monday.

Pinecrest 9, Purnell Swett 0

The Patriots (8-0-2, 3-0-0) rolled to a Southeastern Conference win at home Wednesday night. Pinecrest will host Richmond for an SEC match at 7 p.m. Monday.

The Lady Jet doubles teams, Lindsay Tate and Alanna Pyrtle, Lauren Underwood and Sarah Morse, and Kendall Suits and Alyssa Tucker, swept their Lady Ram opponents to get a Mid-State Conference victory Wednesday afternoon at Reidsville.

The Lady Jets played at Southern Lee yesterday and will play a conference match at Graham at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
