AREA SCORES: Falcons net 10 in CCC victory
Lee Christian 10, Cresset Christian 1
Lee Christian rolled to a Carolina Christian win at Cresset Christian Tuesday afternoon and made it 18 goals scored in the last two matches.
Junior Ju Hyup Jin and sophomore Garrison Weaver scored hat tricks for the Falcons (2-1, 2-0). Spencer Berube scored two goals. Nathan Hilliard scored a goal and Cresset Christian allowed an own goal. Adam Hopper made seven saves in the first half for the Falcons and Brent Godfrey made five saves in the second half. Lee Christian outshot Cresset 28-13.
Lee Christian will play at CCC and city rival Grace Christian at 5 p.m. Friday.
Grace Christian 10, Community Christian 1
The Crusaders (6-2-1, 2-0-0) dealt with a lightning delay early in the first half and scored the last nine goals of the match to win at Community Christian Tuesday afternoon.
Zach Boggs scored a hat trick and seven more Crusaders had a tally each. Salvador Leonidez, Jose Leonidez, Ricky Castronedas, Isaac Kruger, Evan Kannarr, Matt Russell and Micah Welborn had a goal each.
Grace Christian plays at O'Neal at 5 p.m. today, then hosts Lee Christian on Friday.
Fayetteville Academy 5, O'Neal 0
Despite getting back-to-back wins last week, O'Neal (2-4-1, 0-1-0) fell in its Cape Fear Independent opener at Fayetteville Academy (4-4, 1-0) Tuesday. The Falcons host Grace Christian at 5 p.m. today.
Cape Fear Christian 5, Wayne Christian 0
Cape Fear Christian (2-2-1, 1-1-0) blanked visiting Wayne Christian in a CCC match Tuesday. The Eagles have another CCC match at Community Christian at 7 p.m. Friday.
Pinecrest 4, East Chapel Hill 1
The Patriots moved to 4-0 with a win over visiting East Chapel Hill (1-2-1) Tuesday night.
Gerardo Peraza scored two goals, including one in the seventh minute to give the Patriots the lead. Cole Ritch and Spencer Eltschlager scored a goal each. The Patriots outshot the visitors 23-4.
Pinecrest plays at Holly Springs this evening at 6 p.m.
North Moore 2, Scotland 1
The Mustangs (2-0-1) edged the Fighting Scots to remain undefeated Tuesday night in Robbins. North Moore played at Union Academy last night and will host East Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Pine Forest 2, Triton 0
Pine Forest (5-0) beat the visiting Hawks (1-4-1) Tuesday night. Triton plays at Midway at 7 p.m. tonight. Triton and Midway played a 1-1 draw last week.
Westover 3, Union Pines 2
The Wolverines (3-1, 1-0) beat the Vikings (2-1-2, 0-1-0) for a Cape Fear Valley win in Fayetteville Tuesday night.
Jonathan Perez, Dylan Wilhelm and Faouzi Diarrassouba scored a goal each for Westover. The match was 1-1 at halftime.
Union Pines played Terry Sanford last night and will play at Lee County at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Community Christian d. Grace Christian 25-19, 25-15, 25-10
Community Christian (3-2, 1-0) beat the Lady Crusaders (1-3, 0-2) in a CCC match Tuesday night. Grace Christian plays at O'Neal at 5 p.m. today.
West Montgomery d. Chatham Central 25-13, 25-17, 25-23
West Montgomery (7-0, 4-0) beat the visiting Lady Bears in a Yadkin Valley match Tuesday night. Chatham Central (0-5, 0-3) played Providence Grove last night and will host South Davidson at 6 p.m. this evening.
Cape Fear Christian 3, Wayne Christian 0
The Lady Eagles (2-2, 2-0) swept visiting Wayne Christian for a CCC victory Tuesday. Cape Fear Christian will play at Community Christian at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Eastern Randolph swept the Lady Jets (1-5) in Siler City Tuesday night. Jordan-Matthews played at West Montgomery last night and go to Providence Grove this evening at 6 p.m.
Cardinal Gibbons d. Northwood 25-6, 25-6, 25-12
Cardinal Gibbons (7-0, 2-0) cruised to a Big Eight win in Raleigh Tuesday. Northwood (1-3, 0-2) hosts J.F. Webb in a conference match this evening at 6 p.m.
Knightdale d. Harnett Central 21-25, 25-23, 14-25, 27-25, 15-8
Harnett Central (0-8, 0-3) pushed visiting Knightdale (2-4, 2-1) to five sets but fell in a Greater Neuse River match Tuesday. Harnett Central hosted Overhills last night and plays at Garner this evening at 5:30 p.m.
Triton d. Overhills 25-19, 25-14, 25-17
The Lady Hawks (3-1) won in a sweep at Overhills (5-2, 2-0) Tuesday night. Triton will play at Cape Fear at 5 p.m. Monday. The Lady Jaguars played Harnett Central last night and are hosting Seventy-First at 6 p.m. this evening.
Terry Sanford 9, Lee County 0
Terry Sanford swept the Lady Yellow Jackets (1-3, 1-2) in their first meeting as Cape Fear Valley mates in Fayetteville Tuesday afternoon. Lee County played at Westover yesterday and will host Southern Lee at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lady Chargers (2-3, 1-2) got their first Big Eight victory at home Tuesday afternoon. Northwood plays at Cedar Ridge at 4:30 p.m. today.
