Overhills earns split with Pine Forest

Overhills 40, Pine Forest 35

Coming off a two-week break, Overhills (7-4, 2-1) rallied from a 25-15 halftime deficit to win a non-conference game at Pine Forest (9-5, 2-0) Wednesday night. Pine Forest beat the Jaguars 70-63 on Dec. 3.

Overhills will play at Triton on Tuesday at 8 p.m. The Jaguars and Hawks have split two games this season.

Girls basketball

Pine Forest 49, Overhills 44

The Lady Trojans (9-4, 2-0) completed a season sweep over Overhills (6-5, 3-0) Wednesday night. The Lady Jaguars play at Triton Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Overhills is 2-0 this season against Triton.
