Terry Sanford 66, Union Pines 33
Terry Sanford (17-2, 8-0) rolled to a regular-season sweep of the Vikings (8-12, 2-7) Wednesday night in Cameron. The Bulldogs led 16-4 after a quarter and 36-8 after a half.
Joseph Poole led Union Pines with nine points.
The Vikings host Douglas Byrd in another Cape Fear Valley game at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Cleveland 61, Western Harnett 47
Ram junior Bobby Stenborg scored 32 points leading Cleveland (10-9, 4-2) to a Two Rivers Conference win at Western Harnett (2-17, 2-4) Wednesday night.
William Carter led the Eagles with 16 points. The Eagles host South Johnston for a Two Rivers game at 8 p.m. tonight.

Triton 67, Corinth Holders 48
Triton (13-5, 5-1) led 32-27 at halftime at Corinth Holders (4-14, 3-3) before pulling away more for a Two Rivers win Wednesday night.
Chris Eason led the Hawks with 18 points with Trent Fennell scoring 11 and Nick Parker getting 10.
Triton has a four-game winning streak and leads the Two Rivers by a game over Cleveland. Triton plays at Smithfield-Selma at 8 p.m. tonight.

North Stanly 82, Chatham Central 80 - OT
The Comets (18-3, 11-1) escaped Bear Creek in overtime Wednesday night in a Yadkin Valley Conference game.
The Bears (7-9, 3-5) host Union Academy for a YVC game at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

North Moore 70, South Davidson 54
North Moore moved ahead with a 17-7 second quarter, taking a 37-27 halftime lead, and kept going for a YVC win over the Wildcats (4-15, 3-9) Wednesday night.
The Mustangs (12-7, 9-1) host Queens Grant at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Girls basketball
Terry Sanford 44, Union Pines 40
Terry Sanford (12-7, 6-2) gave Union Pines (16-3, 7-1) its first Cape Fear Valley Conference loss of the season Wednesday evening in Cameron.
Courtney Roulhac led Terry Sanford with 19 points. The win puts the Lady Bulldogs one game behind UP for the CFVC lead.
Stephanie Johnson had 14 points and nine rebounds and Tiffany Hicks had seven points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Vikings.
Union Pines hosts Douglas Byrd this evening at 6 p.m.

Chatham Central 45, North Stanly 41
The Lady Bears (10-8, 6-3) defeated the visiting Lady Comets (1-6, 8-3) in a key game in the top part of the Yadkin Valley Conference standings Wednesday night.
Chatham Central hosts Union Academy at 6 p.m. this evening.

Cleveland 47, Western Harnett 24
Cleveland (8-11, 5-1) led 23-8 at halftime and cruised to a Two Rivers win at Western Harnett Wednesday night. Miranda Hinton and Myrayna Watkins scored 10 points each for Cleveland.
The Lady Eagles (2-14, 2-4) host South Johnston at 6:30 p.m. tonight.

Triton 41, Corinth Holders 34
Triton trailed 12-9 at halftime before prevailing at Corinth Holders (5-11, 1-5) in Two Rivers play Wednesday evening.
The Lady Hawks (6-12, 2-4) outscored Corinth Holders 23-13 in the third quarter to turn things around. Seniors Octavia Hart and Jamecia McNair scored nine points each for the Lady Hawks and sophomore Tarica Worney had six points, 13 rebounds and four blocks.
Triton plays at Smithfield-Selma at 6:30 p.m. tonight.

South Davidson 45, North Moore 38
South Davidson (14-6, 9-3) won a YVC game at North Moore (6-12, 4-7) Wednesday night. The Lady Mustangs continue YVC play at home tonight versus Queens Grant at 6 p.m.
