The Cavaliers (15-3, 7-1) rolled to their 10th straight win, third straight double-digit win and, combined with other results in the Cape Fear Valley Conference Tuesday night, moved into first place in the CFVC with a victory at Westover.
Freshman Courtney Roberts and sophomore Julia Callicutt combined for 12 strikeouts in 6-0 and 2-0 shutouts at Winthrop on Tuesday evening. A 6-for-8 performance with one RBI at the plate by sophomore shortstop Ericka Nesbitt paced the Camels.
