Boys basketball
Chapel Hill 44, Southern Lee 39
The Cavaliers led 37-23 going to the fourth quarter at Chapel Hill (3-1) Monday night only for the home side to rally with a 21-2 fourth quarter to win.
The Cavaliers (0-3) will host Franklinton at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Chapel Hill won Monday's JV game 50-42 over the Cavaliers.

Friendship Christian 64, Lee Christian 30
Friendship Christian (1-2) jumped out to a 26-6 lead by the end of the first quarter and topped the visiting Falcons in Raleigh Monday night. Lee Christian (0-3, 0-1) will play at Wayne Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Friendship Christian edged the JV Falcons 31-29. The Falcons fought back with 14-3 score in the fourth quarter.

Overhills 65, Western Harnett 51
The Jaguars (1-1) topped rival Western Harnett (0-2) in the first round of the Harnett County Tip Off Tournament at Campbell University Monday.
The boys consolation and championship games are set for tonight at Campbell.

Jack Britt 45, Pinecrest 44
The Buccaneers edged the visiting Patriots (1-2) Monday night. Pinecrest will host Jack Britt in a rematch on Dec. 3.

Girls basketball
Friendship Christian 48, Lee Christian 26
Friendship Christian (2-1) beat the Lady Falcons (0-3) in Raleigh Monday evening. Lauren Lane scored eight points for the Lady Falcons and Haley Draughn scored seven points.
Lee Christian will play next at Grace Christian on Dec. 6.

Harnett Central 61, Triton 42
In the first round of the Harnett County Tip Off Tournament at Campbell, Harnett Central (1-1) jumped out to a 16-2 lead in the first quarter and kept going to beat Triton (0-3).
Guard Lakiesha Lewis led the Lady Trojans with 21 points. Madison Turlington and Denise McNeill added 10 points each. Erica Gaddy led Triton with 15 points.

Overhills 50, Western Harnett 20
Also in the Harnett County Tip Off, Overhills (2-0) led 21-10 at halftime and kept pulling away against Western Harnett (0-2). The Lady Jaguars and Lady Trojans will play in this evening's final.

Jack Britt 42, Pinecrest 21
Jack Britt cruised past the visiting Lady Patriots (1-2) Monday night. Pinecrest will host Jack Britt on Dec. 3.
