Boys basketball

Trinity Academy 63, Lee Christian 34

Trinity Academy of Raleigh cruised to a Carolina Christian Conference win at Lee Christian Tuesday evening.

Garrison Weaver led Lee Christian with 12 points. Graham Terrell and Jack Burrus scored seven each for the Falcons.

The Falcons (0-9, 0-6) will play a CCC game at Neuse Christian at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Village Christian 91, O'Neal 46

Village Christian (12-4, 3-0) remained unbeaten in the Cape Fear Independent Conference with a win at O'Neal (3-10, 0-3) Tuesday evening. O'Neal will host Harrells Christian in CFIC play at 7 p.m. Friday.

Cresset Christian 90, Cape Fear Christian 40

Cresset Christian (11-2, 6-1) moved out to a 46-15 lead by halftime and won a Carolina Christian Conference game in Durham Tuesday night. The Eagles (2-9, 2-5) will play at Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Scotland 43, Pinecrest 37

Pinecrest (3-10, 0-2) rallied from a 33-22 deficit starting the fourth quarter, tying the game, 33-33, with less than four minutes to go, but couldn't continue the comeback in a Southeastern Conference game at Scotland (2-8, 1-1) Tuesday night. The Patriots will host Purnell Swett for an SEC game at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Girls basketball

Trinity Academy 30, Lee Christian 25

The host Lady Falcons jumped out to an 11-0 lead, holding Trinity Academy scoreless until the second quarter, but couldn't hold on in a Carolina Christian Conference game Tuesday evening.

Kristi Demski led Trinity Academy with 20 points.

Lee Christian (0-10, 0-6) will play at Neuse Christian at 5 p.m. Friday.

Cape Fear Christian 52, Cresset Christian 43

Cape Fear Christian overcame a seven-point halftime deficit, winning the second half 33-17, for a CCC win in Durham Tuesday evening. The Lady Eagles (6-4, 5-2) will play a CCC game at Community Christian at 6 p.m. Friday.

Scotland 59, Pinecrest 38

Fighting Scot center Destiny Campbell scored 29 points to lead Scotland (4-6, 2-0) to a Southeastern Conference win over the visiting Lady Patriot (3-9, 0-2) Tuesday evening.

Pinecrest will host Purnell Swett for a league game at 6 p.m. Friday.
