Lee County went 4-0 and successfully defended its county volleyball championship Saturday at the fourth playing of the Lee Christian All-County Volleyball Tournament. The Lady Yellow Jackets (11-0, 3-0 Cape Fear Valley) topped the host Lady Falcons in the final match 25-10, 25-23.

Lee Christian held its annual Athletic Banquet in celebration of its athletic year Friday night at a full Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The banquet was the culmination of the year's successes and a celebration of the student-athletes.
