Youth baseball and softball season coming up

Lee County Parks and Recreation is holding registration for its youth baseball and softball leagues now through Feb. 21 at the Parks and Recreation Office, 2303 Tramway Road in Sanford.
The leagues are for boys ages 7-14 and girls ages 8-14. The registration fee is $35 for county residents and $50 for out-of-county residents. For more information, please call (919) 775-2107 ext. 502. New players are required to bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Moore basketball league sign-ups
Moore County Parks and Recreation is holding registration for its 50-and-older basketball league from now until Feb. 28. Open gym will start Feb. 18 at Sandhills Farm Life Elementary School from 6:30-8 p.m. For more information, please call Jim Rogers at (910) 947-2504.

Youth baseball and softball on deck
Moore County Parks and Recreation is getting ready for its spring youth baseball and softball leagues. Games will begin the week of March 31. The registration deadline is Feb. 21. Soccer instruction and scrimmage
Moore County Parks and Recreation's Youth Soccer Program registration deadline is Feb. 14. All sessions will be Saturdays from Feb. 22 to March 15. Each session is 45 minutes of instruction and 45 minutes of scrimmage. For more information, please call Scott Kidd at (910) 947-2504.

Adult softball sign-ups
Lee County Parks and Recreation's adult softball season is coming up and registration will be held Feb. 17-21 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day at the Parks and Recreation Office, 2303 Tramway Road.
