The Vikings (2-0) won at Pinecrest (0-1) Tuesday night. Union Pines hosted Southwestern Randolph last night and will host Terry Sanford on Dec. 4. Pinecrest held the Pinecrest Duals yesterday and will begin its conference schedule at Lumberton on Dec. 11.

Union Pines 77, North Moore 43
The Vikings (2-1) rolled past the visiting Mustangs (1-2) Tuesday night in Cameron.
Junior guard Malik Crawford led four Vikings in double-figure scoring with 18 points. Luke Davis and Tyler Packer had 12 points each. Darrin Carlyle had 10 points.
Quashan Davis led the Mustangs with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Union Pines will host East Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. North Moore will play at O'Neal at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
 
Wake Christian 66, Grace Christian 48
Zach Boggs scored 25 points on the night and the Crusaders (3-2) led during the third quarter before Wake Christian prevailed in Raleigh Tuesday night.
The Crusaders had a three-point lead halfway through the third quarter before starting guard Isaac Kruger suffered a possible broken arm late in the quarter, said Grace Christian head coach Tim Murr.
Wake Christian outscored the Crusaders 22-12 in the fourth quarter. Chase Tyler led Wake Christian with 17 points and Rob Whitfield scored 16 points.
William Kerr added 12 points for the Crusaders.
"When Isaac went out, it just kind of deflated our boys," Murr said. "They were obviously concerned about him. Wake Christian is a great program and their team just outplayed us down the stretch."
Grace Christian will host Wayne Country Day at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
 
Northwood 67, Providence Grove 57
The Chargers (1-0) opened their season with a win at Providence Grove (0-1) Tuesday night.
From a tied score through three quarters, Northwood won the fourth quarter 28-18.
The Chargers will play at Northern Durham at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
 
Harnett Central 52, Triton 37
The Trojans (1-1) won in the opening round of the Harnett County Tip-Off Tournament at Campbell Tuesday night, earning a match-up with Overhills in last night's championship game.
Junior guard Deshaun Arnold led the Trojans with 20 points. Jay McNeill added 10 points. Dequill Avery led the Hawks (1-2) with 12 points. Harnett Central got out to a 30-14 lead by halftime.
Triton faced Western Harnett in last night's consolation game.
 
Girls basketball
Northwood 49, Southern Lee 45
Cavalier guard Jordanna Kalkhof poured in 26 points but Southern Lee (1-2) fell at Northwood (2-0) Tuesday evening.
Kalkhof made 5 of 12 three-pointers and 9 of 18 field goals total. Makenzie Cicogna had nine points and six rebounds for the Lady Cavs and Erin Pickens tallied six rebounds, five assists and five steals.
The Lady Chargers will play at Northern Durham at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Southern Lee will host Franklinton at 7 p.m. Monday.
 
Union Pines 80, North Moore 53
The Lady Vikings (2-1) jumped out to a 31-8 lead through one quarter and kept going to a 49-19 halftime lead versus North Moore (1-2) in Cameron Tuesday night.
It was a balanced attack for the Lady Vikings. Tiffany Hicks had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Stephanie Johnson had 18 points, four boards and two blocks. Nyona Shields had 12 points and eight assists and Maresa Smith had 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Andrea Brower led the Lady Mustangs with 13 points and Leah Salzwedel scored 11 points.
Union Pines won the JV game 53-48.
Union Pines will host East Montgomery at 6 p.m. Tuesday. North Moore will play at Albemarle at 6 p.m. next Thursday.
 
Grace Christian 55, Wake Christian 31
The Lady Crusaders improved to 6-0 on the road in Raleigh Tuesday evening.
Senior Anna Murr scored 18 points, all in the first half. Karinda Farrant and Alexis Ross scored 10 points each and Payton Winchell had nine points.
Grace Christian will host Wayne Country Day at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The Lady Crusaders edged Wake Christian in the JV game, 30-29 in overtime.
 
Triton 60, Western Harnett 49
Triton got its first win of the season in the consolation game of the Harnett County Tip-Off Tournament Tuesday evening.
Junior guard Kadizah Gaulden had 18 points, while making 8 of 10 field goals, along with seven assists for the Lady Hawks. Jamecia McNair had 12 points and seven rebounds. Je'Nae Harvey had 10 points and five steals.
Geena Bryant led the Lady Eagles with 13 points and Meredith Randolph added nine points.
Western Harnett (0-3) will host Harnett Central at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Triton (1-3) will play at Overhills at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
