After a brief two-week stint with the Dallas Cowboys during this past fall’s NFL pre-season, Dennis Godfrey (LCHS) has opted to return for his second season with the San Jose Sabercats of the Arena Football League. Godfrey signed with the Sabercats last June, playing in his first game against Utah on June 29. He then moved from offensive line to fullback starting in three games, rushing for 21 yards on six attempts and scoring a touchdown. Godfrey and the Sabercats will open their 2014 season on March 17 when they travel to face the Portland Thunder.
