Competition in the North Carolina Quarter Horse Association's Tar Heel Triple Classic will continue at 10 a.m. today at Eleven Bar East Ranch.

Working cow horse and calf roping classes got underway Friday evening in the ranch's covered arena. Two weekends of NCQHA events, a youth event last Saturday, and the NCQHA Jamboree yesterday and today, brought top riders and horses to Eleven Bar East.

The Tar Heel Triple Classic draws competitors seeking to qualify for the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship coming in November in Oklahoma City.

The ranch is located at 2805 Lower Moncure Road. The public is invited and admission is free. Additional information is available at Eleven Bar East Ranch's website, http://11bareastranch.com/.
